The Lion House
Even before you reach the safari bus departure point, no matter if you walk or take the sight-seeing train, you must have an audience with the king of the jungle. No reservation needed! Their majesties received a brand new home in 2004 and they look quite happy there. With tree trunks and a small pond, their indoor space resembles the African savannah.

A brief history
The former lion house was built near the safari bus station in 1990-1991. One of its weakest points was that there was no access for visitors. If the animals decided to have a rest inside, no one could see the attractive felids at all. Therefore, steps were taken and a new facility developed. An old tunnel was pulled down and the exhibit made available all the year round.
