ZOO Dvůr Králové - the world record - 250th baby giraffe was born on December 2, 2013

250th baby giraffe was born on 2 December in Dvur Kralove Zoo. It is the world record. It wasn´t an easy birth - the baby was born in opposite position and keepers, zoologists and a veterinarian had to help the female with a twine.  Mother´s name is Jenifer (it is her second baby), the male Tommy has became a father of twenty-seven youngs.
